Mandurah

a popular coastal town south of Perth

Mundaring Weir

It is a dam located 39 kilometres (24 mi) from Perth, Western Australia in the Darling Scarp. It is situated in the Mundaring locality. The dam crosses the Helena River.


Swan Valley 

The Swan Valley is a region in the upper reaches of the Swan River between Guildford and Bells Rapids. It is bordered to the east by the Darling Scarp. Both Ellen Brook and Jane Brook lie within the region and discharge into the Swan River. There are 14 suburbs within the region including Henley Brook, Caversham, Upper Swan, Brigadoon and Whiteman; It occurs in the City of Swan local government area.

It is the oldest wine growing area Western Australia with major producers Sandalford Wines and Houghton Wines open daily for free tasting the area also encompasses the historical settlement of Guildford,


Dryandra Woodland - conservation reserve south east of Perth


Nambung National Park - national park north of Perth that includes the Pinnacles
Sunset Coast is the collection of white beaches from Cottesloe to Yanchep
Yanchep National Park - on the northern edge of the metropolitan area in notable for its caves
